Terms and Conditions:

Art Camping – Booking Terms

These terms apply to bookings made via the Johku online store of Taidelaitos Haihatus, concerning Art Camping accommodation, rented linens, hammocks, tents, and camper van pitches.

1. Booking Period and Accommodation Season

Accommodation can be booked for the period 28 June – 31 August 2025.

The starting date of a booking must fall between Tuesday and Saturday.

One booking corresponds to one (1) night.

Bookings must be made in advance via the online store and are binding from the moment of purchase.

2. Duration and Schedule of Accommodation

Accommodation begins at 6:00 PM on the booking day and ends at 12:00 PM (noon) the following day.

3. Accommodation Options

The following accommodation options are available:

Art Camping spot for your own tent or hammock

Ready-made hammock or tent package

"Selostamo" indoor space

Camper van pitch

Bed linen is available as an add-on rental item.

Additional services such as sauna sessions or other separately announced activities may also be purchased.

4. Payment

All bookings must be paid in full and in advance via the online store.

Available payment methods: Visma Pay and MobilePay

The booking becomes valid only after payment has been successfully completed.

5. Cancellation and Changes

5.1 Cancellation

There is no right of cancellation for accommodation bookings.

Payments will not be refunded even if the customer does not arrive.

According to Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the right to cancel distance purchases does not apply to accommodation services agreed for a specific date.

5.2 Rescheduling

Bookings can be rescheduled to another date if there is availability in the booking calendar.

A booking can only be rescheduled once, and a rescheduled booking cannot be cancelled or changed again.

Bookings may be transferred to another person without separate notice.

6. Service Provider's Right to Cancel

Taidelaitos Haihatus reserves the right to cancel a booking in the case of force majeure.

In such cases, the payment will be fully refunded to the customer.

7. Responsibilities and Special Conditions

Customers are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

Taidelaitos Haihatus is not responsible for changes to the customer’s travel plans due to weather conditions or other external factors.

In case of force majeure, Haihatus may cancel the booking. The full payment will then be refunded.

Terms and Conditions for Tickets and Events

These terms apply to tickets for exhibitions and participation fees for events and workshops purchased via the Haihatus online store (Johku).

1. Ticket Validity and Use

Each ticket allows one-time entry on the selected day.

The ticket can be rescheduled to another day within the exhibition’s opening times, subject to availability.

Participation in workshops and events is often limited, and rescheduling may not be possible.

2. Payment Methods

Tickets and participation fees are paid at the time of purchase via the online store.

MobilePay

Epassi and Smartum (in select cases only)

Epassi and Smartum can only be used for events and tickets directly produced by Haihatus, not for co-produced events. This will be clearly stated where applicable.

3. Right of Cancellation

3.1 Single Events and Workshops

Tickets and participation fees are non-refundable from the moment of purchase.

According to Chapter 6, Section 16 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the cancellation right does not apply to events or services arranged for a specific date.

3.2 Summer Exhibition Tickets

Tickets for the summer exhibition can be rescheduled to another date during the exhibition period, subject to availability.

Changes must be arranged no later than 6:00 PM the day before the scheduled visit.

4. Force Majeure and Organizer's Right to Cancel

Haihatus reserves the right to cancel an event or workshop in the case of force majeure (e.g., illness, weather, technical failure).

In such cases, the participation fee will be fully refunded.

General Information

Delivery Method and Use of Services

Products purchased through the Haihatus Johku online store are services provided on-site at Haihatus. No physical items will be shipped.

Tickets and participation rights are delivered electronically as a PDF file or QR code via email immediately after payment.

Please present the ticket or code upon arrival at the event or exhibition.

Accommodation and any related services (such as linen rental or sauna sessions) will be provided at Haihatus on the date specified in the booking.

Keep your email or QR code saved and ready to show when needed.
